Resumo: The xDSL technologies permit the high speed digital transmission through the current telephe network. This operation is conducted using a wide frequency bandplan, exposing in this way transmitted signal to a high levei of crosstalk (eletromagnetic coupling), which is tipically 10-15db higher than the background noise presented in the system. The crosstalk noise is consedered the m source of inteference for the DSL (Digital Subscriber Lines) systems, and this can vary significativ depending of the phisical conditions of the lines and the spectrum of the transmission.The Dynamic Spectrum Management - DSM approach is based on the optimization of the tramission capacity of the channel through the transmitted spectrum adaptation of the users presentec the network, to the variant conditions of the thelephone lines, like noise and physical characteristics. This dissertation proposes an comparison analysis of performance between the algorithms that compose the current Dynamic Spectrum Management state-of-art, describing the process adopted during the reproduction and simulation of the main algorithms.
